European Residency for the whole family starting from 280.000 Euros
As many of you know, The Portugal Golden Visa is a golden visa program by the government of Portugal that grants residency to people who invest in properties worth at least €500,000, but not everyone knows that the actual investments in real estate can start from 280.000 Euros. How is that possible? If the property is located in so-called “low-density areas” of the country (areas with less than 100 inhabitants per sq.km., or where the GDP per head is below 75% of the national average), the value of this investment may be reduced in 20%. Meaning, that you can buy a new property instead of €500,000 for €400,000 and still get the Golden Visa. Or you can invest in Portugal property that is in need of rehabilitation and in this case, minimum requirement decreases to €350,000. The property either has to be built more than 30 years ago or has to be located in a designated area of urban rehabilitation. If the property is in a “low density area”, minimum requirement gets reduced to €280,000.
